The media insist illegal immigrants are not allowed to vote, but cities have allowed the practice in local elections for years.
Using a website to look like an official state-run site, a “political nonprofit” group was reported to be trying to harvest personal information for electioneering purposes.
An investigation by Broad and Liberty blew the whistle on Commonwealth Communications, a 501(c)4 group headed up by a political staffer for former Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolfe, using vote.pa as a website masquerading as an official government page. Under the guise of voter registration, Commonwealth Communications would collect users’ data, and under the terms of the site, use it in the group’s “political efforts and activities.”
Multiple instances of Democrat politicians promoting the partisan site have been documented, including current Governor Josh Shapiro.
As recently as April 16, Commonwealth Communications was pointing voters on Twitter to the site as a means to register for mail-in voting.
While not illegal nor evidence of voter fraud, the website—which has now changed the language used to distance itself from sounding like an official state site—offers fresh ammunition for critics of underhanded tactics employed by Democratic operatives for electoral gain.
State House Republicans have spent a great deal of time shining light on attempted voter fraud in the commonwealth, while conservative think tank The Heritage Foundation has compiled a database of voter fraud cases in Pennsylvania and other states.
Meanwhile, it has been discovered that a self-described “grassroots effort” to provide a range of “support services” for those entering the United States illegally, is encouraging soon-to-be illegal immigrants to register to vote and support President Biden in the upcoming election to ensure the border remains wide open.
Resource Center Matamoras, which has apparent ties to embattled Homeland Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, was found to have been distributing flyers urging border crossers to engage in the illegal activity.
In telling examples of media bias, outlets like the Washington Blade have previously reported on Resource Center Matamoras as a “lifeline” to the “thousands of migrants” waiting to cross into the United States.
It’s not just the media: Prominent Democrat officials are making comments, too. Congressman David Trone, the frontrunner for the Maryland Democratic Senate primary, recently said illegal immigrants should “have the same rights” as American citizens. This presumably would include the right to vote.
Despite media outlets declaring illegal immigrants are not voting, municipalities around the country have been granting them voting rights in local elections for years, with Santa Ana, California among the latest cities to allow illegal immigrants having a say in how a political subdivision to which they do not belong is run.
